Seneca Landscapes Guarantee Program

Plant Material

A two (2) year limited guarantee will be provided for all woody plant material.*
Each item will be replaced a maximum of one time each under this guarantee.
We will gladly replace plants that fail at no charge to the owner. These plant materials will be replaced as soon as they become available and as quickly as our schedule permits.  Replacement plants will be that of the same size and quality as those originally installed.

Items not covered by or that void the guarantee:

• Invoice not being paid according to terms
• Vandalism or Theft
• Pet/pedestrian damage
• Wildlife damage
• Acts of God (ex: lightning, hurricane/storm damage, flooding, hail, drought, early and late season freezes, etc.)
• Improper cultural practices (ex: chemical damage, over/under watering, improper drainage, over fertilization, etc.)
• Insect infestation
• Plants not suited for the surrounding environments that were planted specifically at the client’s request (ex: not suited for the hardiness zone, improper soil conditions, etc.).  If any of these plants are requested by the client, Seneca Landscapes will make the client aware of the specific plants and list them in the estimate.
• Any plant material in containers, pots, window or planter boxes.
• All Perennials, Annuals, ornamental grasses, ground covers, lawn seed, sod, bulbs, or existing transplanted plant materials.
• If any of the plants are relocated from their original planting locations.

Hardscapes

Hardscapes include a five (5) year limited guarantee.* 
This guarantee covers all craftsmanship defects. 

Items not covered by or that void the guarantee:

• Invoice not being paid according to terms
• Pet/pedestrian damage
• Vandalism
• Acts of God (as listed in the plant warranty section)
• Improper use
• Efflorescence
• Normal reactions of materials to their environment

Water Features, Outdoor Lighting, and Irrigation

    All labor and materials will be guaranteed for a period of one (1) year, starting from the project/phase completion date.*

Items not covered by or that void the guarantee:

• Invoice not being paid according to terms
• Pet/pedestrian damage
• Vandalism
• Improper maintenance
• Acts of God (as listed in the plant section)
• Improper use
• Wildlife damage
