The Seneca Promise

Properties maintained by Seneca Landscapes will be offered the Seneca Promise. The Seneca Promise is a lifelong guarantee to all new plant material that we install when, and for as long as the property is continuously maintained by Seneca Landscapes.  The Seneca Promise is also offered (for plants only) to new installation projects that sign a maintenance contract before the completion of the project.  Ask your Seneca Landscapes Design/Estimator for details.

Items not covered by or that void the guarantee:

  • Invoice not being paid according to terms
  • Vandalism
  • Pet/pedestrian damage
  • Wildlife damage
  • Acts of God (ex: lightning, Hurricane/ storm damage, flooding, hail, drought, early and late season freezes, etc.)
  • Plants not suited for the surrounding environment that were planted at the client’s request (ex: do not receive rain water, are not suited for the hardiness zone, soil conditions are wrong etc.).  If this is requested by the client, Seneca will make the client aware of these plants and exclude them from the guarantee.
  • Moisture or temperature extreme and/or shallow planting/root zones (ex: container plantings, pots, window/planter boxes, annuals, perennials, ground covers, lawn seed, sod, bulbs, and transplanted plant material).
